Governor Tom Wolf has created a brand new multifaceted initiative to strengthen the expansion and competitiveness of producing firms in Pennsylvania. The Manufacturing PA Initiative consists of DCED’s strategic companions such as a result of the Nationwide Institutes of Requirements and Expertise Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) funded Industrial Resource Centers (IRC), Pennsylvania’s faculties, universities & technical colleges and non-revenue organizations providing essential coaching and workforce development opportunities supporting the manufacturing industry and its workforce. Job training to profession pathways is a major focus of the initiative’s efforts.
